Postmywish.com and Jovanna Fragouli made the wish of Ruth Frith, the world’s oldest athlete, come true when the century-old athlete visited Ancient Olympia.

Mrs. Ruth Frith, the world’s oldest athlete is from Brisbane,Australia, and who, at 101 years of age, stills continues to exercise and train.  Her incredible accomplishments have been broadcasted internationally on networks including CNN.

Ruth Firth took parting her first World Masters Athletic Championships at the age of 74. She has set world records in here age class in the weight pentathlon, triple jump, weight throw, long jump, shot put, discus, hammer and javelin.

Ruth Firth was accompanied to Greece by her daughter, Helen Searle, herself an Olympic Athlete in the Games of 1960 and 1964.

On Monday January 18th a dinner honoring Mrs. Firth was attended by Spyros Capralos, President of the Greek Olympic Committee, George Aydonis,  Mayor of Ancient Olympia, Lefteris Skiadas , Deputy Mayor of Athens and Academy Award Winning Actress Olympia Dukakis.

Mrs. Firth’s visit to Ancient Olympia took place on January 21st where Mayor George Aydonis honored “super grandma” (she had 11 great-grandchildren) and awarded her  a crown of wild olive branches and a gold wreath. In addition, Mrs Firth visited the Archaeological Museum of Ancient Olympia, as well as the Olympic Academy together with Mrs Jovanna Fragouli, the founder of postmywish.com and her team.

Postmywish.com commenced operations on the 1st of January and within two weeks inaugurated its’ first event. Postmywish is the continuation of “Ask and it will Happen” one of Greece’s most popular television shows. It gives site users the chance to send their wish, not only from Greece, but from all over the world.

The site users can vote the wishes of others hoping to come true but can also help by taking part of it in any way they can.

Postmywish will also be one of the webchannels of the mywebtv.gr platform  created my Mrs. Liana Patera.
