Presentation of the Book by Deni Dimitreas

On April 28, 2009 at 20:00 at the Hellenic American Union Auditorium Deni Dimitreas’s book will be presented. A book which provides an overview of the history of Greeks in America. The author has published his book in both Greek and English as a gift to all second- and third-generation Greeks, because he considers it very important that the use of the Greek language in America be preserved. Deni Dimitreas studied Communications Arts at the Stavrakos School of Television and Cinematography in Athens and later at Chicago’s Columbia College. He is mostly known as the creator of the famous “Deni’s Den” club in Chicago. He now lives in Greece and is mainly engaged in writing.

Panelists include: Pavlina Nasioutzik (author), Dimitris Kapranos (journalist, author) and Deni Dimitreas. Α program of music will follow featuring composer Michalis Terzis (piano) and Deni Dimitreas (voice).
