Having reformed, the Cranberries have set off on a tour of Europe, where their second stop will be Athens, Greece on 14 July 2010 at the Vrahon Theatre. The Cranberries, an Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1980, were first named The Cranberry Saw Us. The name was later changed by vocalist Dolores O’Riordan. Though their sound is alternative rock for the most part, the band’s range includes indie, indie pop, rock, post-punk, Irish folk and pop rock.

They have had four top-20 Billboard albums, eight hit singles and more than 40,000,000 in record sales worldwide. The band features O’Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler.
