SURPRISE 2! An arts exhibition for the homeless in Athens

300 works of art – 300 artists – who has created what? You will have to guess on your own!
artAZ, a web portal created to promote Greek art, invites 300 contemporary artists to express themselves and contribute to a massive arts exhibition of love and compassion. The participating artists create works of art especially for the SURPRISE, one piece each. All artworks have the same dimensions (18×24 cm) and are sold for €50 each. What is the surprise? The artworks are signed on the back, so the artist’s identity is revealed only after the purchase!
The art works are exhibited online at the artAZ from January 7 till February 20, 2010. Pieces are added daily in the meantime. On February 19-21, 2010 the exhibition will move to the “Konstantinos Kavafis” hall at the Technopolis, Athens for the audience to see and select. Until then, we suggest that you visit artAZ on a daily basis to mark down the codes of the pieces that you like!
The money from the sales will be donated to support the work of KYADA (Center for the homeless of Athens).
