New York’s award-winning musical RENT by Jonathan Larson is coming to Greece for the first time to Theater Chora, directed by Themis Marsellou and adapted by George Kapountzides. A phenomenon in more than 40 countries, RENT is one of Broadway’s oldest musicals. The Pulitzer Prize winning show has also earned numerous other awards, including 20 prestigious Tony awards and been translated in 22 languages.
RENT is a play that represents the generation of the last twenty years – the problems, dead ends, anxieties and dreams – so relevant in today’s Greece.
