What is going on in our minds when we’re reading a novel?

Awarded with a Literature Nobel, with thousands of dedicated readers from all over the world, writer of eight novels that have caused a global sensation, Orhan Pamuk is visiting Athens on January 11, at 19:00, at the Megaron Plus, for a lecture entitled, “What is going on in our minds when we’re reading a novel?” The anticipated lectured is prologues writer Takis Theodoropoulos.

In this meeting with his audience at the Megaron Plus, the Turk writer will explore the complicated and settle paths a novel reader chooses in order to wonder around and be transformed by the information and revelations. Orhan Pamuk believes that the modern world acquires a deep self-knowledge through literature which offers a revealing mirror for the reader’s contradictions and dead-ends.
