On March 3, 2011, One Love Reggae Ideas will bring a reggae legend to Greece; an artist dedicated to music for over 4 decades. A great artist, genuine music lover and innovator, who played a big role in creating and evolving dancehall reggae. Horace Andy became known for his special voice and his unparallel ability to write songs that are adored by audiences, such as Government Land”, “Angel”, “Five Man Army”, “Do You Love My Music”, “Skylarking”, “Just Say Who”, “Don’t Try To Use Me”, “You Are My Angel”, “Zion Gate”, “I’ve Got to Get Away” and many more.
He has written and participated in over 30 albums, most important of which are Skylarking (1972), You Are My Angel (1973), In the Light (1977), which is considered one of his best albums and contains songs such as “Do You Love My Music,” “Government Land,” and “Leave Rasta”, “Dance Hall Style” (1982), “Fresh” (1988), “Jah Shaka Meets Horace Andy” (1994) and “Life Is For Living” (1995). His latest Serious Times (2010).
With him on stage is the legendary band from Great Britain, Dub Asante and Matic Horns with his passionate trombone.
