Without exaggeration, Eddie C. Campbell is the epitome of classic Chicago blues that the world came to know through the art of Magic Sam, Willie Dixon, Little Walter and others whom Campbell had the good fortune to meet, play with and learn from. Now, Campbell will be appearing at the Half Note Jazz Club in Athens, Greece, from 15 to 21 October.

Originally from Mississippi but having grown up in Chicago, the young guitarist met the legendary Muddy Waters and played with him. The rest is history, as Campbell found himself playing alongside figures that shaped modern electric blues, like Luther Allison, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Jimmy Reed and others.
