Learn how to enter an International community of students

ACS Athens presents the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and the Academy Gateway Summer Program in an open forum on February 9, 2010, 7pm at the ACS Athens Academy Library building . The event is open to the public and is intended for students and their families interested in joining the ACS Athens community of international students (Grades 9-10).

Learn about the IB Diploma Program

The session is designed to provide information to parents and discuss the philosophy, requirements, and procedures set forth by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). Parents will be also informed about the value and uniqueness of the ACS Athens IB Program as well as the advantages of completing the diploma in regards to college/university choices and admission opportunities in the U.S.

Learn about the Academy Gateway Summer Program

This new two-week long program aspires to prepare students entering ACS Athens for the American curriculum and its philosophy as well as to offer a preview of courses and programs offered during the regular school year. This prep program will take place June 28 – July 9, 2010 at the ACS Athens campus.
