Summer in the City!!! Education, Sports and Recreation in an English speaking environment

The 6th Annual ACS Athens Summer Youth Camp, now a tradition at ACS Athens, welcomes its’ fans from June 20^th to July 8^th, 2011 in three separate weekly periods. The program offers a range of activities within an English speaking environment in an effort to promote the use of English to children aged 4-14 years who either do not speak the language, or not have English as their mother tongue. This year, new and innovative activities will be offered in order to keep the children interested and happy!  We have programs that cater to specific age groups: Our “Early Childhood” Program (4 and 5 years old), “Kids” Program (6-8 years old), the “Juniors” Program (9-11 years old) and the “Teens” Program (12-14 years old). Our staff which consists of experienced instructors, assisted by volunteer High School and Middle School students, will once again provide the best possible experience to all the participants.

In the first two programs, the schedule of activities is pre-determined and includes mini tennis, swimming, a variety of activities for learning the English language (narrative, reading, writing, arithmetic, and free exploration of theatrical treatment), computers, crafts and sports while for the other two, the children will choose among a variety of activities to suit their interests such as English, computers, soccer, swimming, basketball, tennis, crafts, modern dance, music, archery, racket sports, and other activities.

The Summer Youth Camp of ACS Athens is a wonderful way to learn English in a happy, safe and relaxed environment.
