ACS Athens Parents-Teachers Organization (PTO) Art Exhibition

ACS Athens Parents-Teachers Organization (PTO) invites you to an Art Exhibition from February 23^rd to March 2^nd at the school’s Art Center.  The exhibition will showcase the combined collections “Twisted Fairytales” by Manina Koudounis, and “The Act of Painting” by Jennifer Tsiopou with an evening reception on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 4pm-10pm. Both artists have donated paintings to the Parents-Teachers Organization and a special raffle will be held with the proceeds going to benefit the victims of Haiti.

“Twisted Fairytales” is an art collection full of toys, cuddly pets, cupcakes and dolls that come alive to create paintings filled with emotions and memories. This fairytale attitude balances perfectly with “The Act of Painting,” a collection full of color, texture and tones that seem to escape like a movie that unfolds through the hidden lines of the canvas.
