A new institution is launched in 2009 in Athens in order to spread around the globe: 48 Hour Film Project Go Green!
Following on from the great response to 48 Hour Film Project in Greece, from the very first year it was realized (2008) this international cultural phenomenon “goes green”.
For the 1st time in the history of the institution and exclusively in Greece, Francesco Vitali and Just Productions present the 48 Hour Film Project Go Green Athens 2009, which will take place from December 11 to December 21, 2009.
The Grand Prize for the ultimate winner is the team’s direct participation in the Cannes Film Festival 2010.
Moreover, the top 15 movies of 48 Hour Film Project Go Green Athens 2009 will travel to 81 cities all over the world, including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and many other, where they will be projected during the national festivals of 48 Hour Film Project 2010. At the same time, they have ensured their distribution in central movie theatres, while they will also be distributed in a collective DVD.
