3rd Screamin' Athens Horror Film Festival at Gagarin 205

The 3rd Screamin’ Athens Horror Film Festival will be held Friday and Saturday 9 and 10 April at Gagarin 205. A total of 22 long and short films from various countries will be shown during the festival. Made on a minimal budget and with plenty of black humour as their backbone, the films are mostly independent and underground productions. Most of them have been shown at major horror film international festivals and have earned distinctions and awards.

The films to be shown originate from France, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Romania, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and the United States and include two new documentaries. A mini-tribute will honor Turkey, which is contributing four films, including the first zombie film in the history of Turkish cinema. Two Greek short-film contributions will also be shown for the first time.
