The 11th European Jazz Festival gives its annual rendezvous with jazz music in Athens, Technopolis, on May 24-29, 2011. (Peireos 100, Gazi)

Music bands from twelve countries from the European Union (Hungary, Slovakia, Portugal, Danemark, Spain, Austria, Holland, Greece, Czech Republic, Sweden, Luxembourg and Belgium) and renowned Greek artists will participate at this cultural event.

In particular the festival is a product of cultural cooperation between the EU countries and has developed to a significant institution for Athens. It hosts the most significant jazz bands , with international careers, that perform a big music spectrum.
